    Boat (Vessel)License:

    Mandatory by state law every person, age 12 and older, who operates a motorized vessel on public waterways must have an operators certification. All applicants must either take a written exam at their local driver examination office, or provide a certification when presenting to their local drivers examination office.
    All persons who are 40 years old or older as of April 28, 1994, are required to be certified but do not have to pass an examination. For additional information please call 334.566.1246 or visit the Alabama Boating License Information site.


    Business/Privilege License:

    A License to operate any business in Pike County can be issued through the Probate Judges Office. Due to the different variety of licenses and prices that apply please call to obtain additional information 334.566.1246

    Hunting/Fishing License:

    Alabama Residents from the ages of 16-64 must have a Hunting/Fishing license to hunt or fish on either public or private property in the State of Alabama. Residents of Alabama that are 65 or older are not required to purchase a hunting or fishing license as long as they have proper identification proving their age. NOTE: Anyone born on or after August 1, 1977 must have a Hunter Education Identification number.     MOTOR VEHICLE OFFICE (Tag and Title Options):

    Car Tag Options:
       All passenger cars, trucks, motorcycles and trailers are to be tagged in the State of Alabama.

    Basic Tag Cost:
      $24.25 issue fee along with any other fees that may be applicable including ad valorem taxes, sales taxes, etc.   New Owners have 10 days to register or transfer registration. Please visit the Alabama Regular and Specialty Tag Options site for tag options and additional information

    Out of State Title:
         New Residents have 30 days to register your vehicle. In order to change a title the following
