Meridian Waste currently holds the contract for Solid Waste Pick-Up in Pike County. We are aware of the issues going on, and continue to do our best to help each constituent with any issues regarding Meridian Waste.
If Meridian Waste DOES NOT pick up your garbage on the scheduled pick-up day, you must first report it to Meridian Waste directly. If they have not resolved the matter within THREE (3) Business Days, Please contact the Pike County Commission Office at 334-566-6374, and speak to Brayton Hughes.

You MUST report to Meridian Waste first in order to receive a credit to your account. Meridian Waste is the ONLY one who can give you a credit, however, if they give you trouble, please contact Brayton Hughes at the Pike County Commission Office.
Social Security Exemptions for Solid Waste are now completed through the Pike County Commission Office. Please contact us to receive the paperwork.
